ISS
The International Space Station (ISS) is a habitable artificial satellite in low Earth orbit. It is a joint project between five participating space agencies: NASA, Roscosmos, JAXA, ESA, and CSA. The ISS serves as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory in which scientific research is conducted in astrobiology, astronomy, meteorology, physics, and other fields. The station is equipped with a variety of scientific equipment and modules, including the Columbus laboratory, the Kibo laboratory, and the Destiny laboratory. The ISS is also used for testing spacecraft systems and equipment required for missions to the Moon and Mars. It is the largest human-made body in low Earth orbit and can be seen from Earth with the naked eye.
