Helmets

In space and astronautical engineering, helmets are protective headgear worn by astronauts during space missions. These helmets are designed to provide a sealed environment for the astronaut's head, protecting them from the vacuum of space and extreme temperatures. They also contain a ventilation system that regulates the flow of oxygen and removes carbon dioxide. Helmets are an essential component of a spacesuit, which is a complete outfit worn by astronauts during spacewalks or extravehicular activities (EVAs). The helmet is attached to the spacesuit's upper torso assembly, which contains the life support system and communication equipment. The helmet visor is made of a special material that protects the astronaut's eyes from harmful radiation and glare from the sun.
