Gas Turbine Engine

A gas turbine engine is a type of internal combustion engine that converts the chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy by means of a combustion process. In a gas turbine engine, air is compressed and mixed with fuel, which is then ignited in a combustion chamber. The resulting hot gases expand through a turbine, which drives a compressor and generates thrust. Gas turbine engines are commonly used in aircraft propulsion, power generation, and marine propulsion. They are known for their high power-to-weight ratio, reliability, and efficiency.
