Frequency Shift Keying

Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) is a digital modulation technique in which the frequency of the carrier signal is varied according to the digital signal being transmitted. In FSK, a binary 1 is represented by a carrier signal with a higher frequency, while a binary 0 is represented by a carrier signal with a lower frequency. FSK is commonly used in satellite communication, radio broadcasting, and wireless communication systems. One of the advantages of FSK is its ability to resist interference from other signals, as it uses a narrow bandwidth. However, FSK is less efficient than other modulation techniques, such as Phase Shift Keying (PSK), as it requires a larger bandwidth to transmit the same amount of data.
