Phase Shift Keying
Phase Shift Keying (PSK) is a digital modulation technique used in communication systems to transmit information over a carrier wave by varying its phase. In PSK, the phase of the carrier wave is changed according to the digital signal being transmitted. The two most common forms of PSK are Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK). BPSK uses two phases, 0 and 180 degrees, to represent the two binary states, while QPSK uses four phases, 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees, to represent two bits at a time. PSK is widely used in satellite communication, wireless communication, and digital broadcasting systems.
