Electric Heaters

Electric heaters are devices that convert electrical energy into heat energy. In space and astronautical engineering, electric heaters are commonly used to maintain the temperature of spacecraft and their components. They are also used in space suits to keep astronauts warm during spacewalks. Electric heaters can be designed to operate on different voltage levels and can use different heating elements such as resistive wires, ceramic plates, or halogen lamps. The efficiency of electric heaters can be improved by using reflective materials to direct the heat towards the desired location. In addition, electric heaters can be controlled by thermostats or other temperature sensors to maintain a constant temperature.
