Chemical Rockets

Chemical rockets are a type of spacecraft propulsion system that use the energy released by a chemical reaction to generate thrust. The reaction typically involves the combustion of a fuel with an oxidizer, producing hot gases that are expelled out of a nozzle to create a reaction force in the opposite direction. Chemical rockets are the most common type of propulsion system used in space exploration, due to their high thrust-to-weight ratio and ability to provide large amounts of thrust for short periods of time. However, they are limited by the amount of propellant they can carry, and are not very efficient for long-duration missions. They also produce exhaust gases that can be harmful to the environment and human health.
