Acoustic Testing

Acoustic testing is a process of measuring and analyzing sound and vibration levels of spacecraft and their components during launch, in-flight, and landing. The goal of acoustic testing is to ensure that the spacecraft and its payloads can withstand the high levels of noise and vibration that occur during launch and other critical phases of the mission. Acoustic testing involves the use of specialized equipment such as microphones, accelerometers, and data acquisition systems to capture and analyze the acoustic environment. The data collected during acoustic testing is used to identify potential issues and to make design modifications to improve the spacecraft's performance and reliability.
