Transmission Line

In space and astronautical engineering, a transmission line is a specialized cable or waveguide used to transmit electrical power or signals from one location to another. It is commonly used in spacecraft and satellites to transfer power and data between different components and subsystems. Transmission lines are designed to minimize signal loss and interference, and to maintain a consistent impedance throughout the length of the line. They can be made from a variety of materials, including copper, aluminum, and fiber optic cables. The design and construction of transmission lines is a critical aspect of spacecraft and satellite engineering, as they play a key role in ensuring reliable communication and operation of the vehicle.
