Structural Framework

In space and astronautical engineering, Structural Framework refers to the physical structure that supports and maintains the shape of a spacecraft or space station. It is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of space, including extreme temperatures, radiation, and microgravity. The structural framework is typically made of lightweight materials such as aluminum or composite materials, and it is designed to be as strong and durable as possible while minimizing weight. The framework must also be designed to accommodate the various components of the spacecraft, including propulsion systems, power systems, and scientific instruments. Structural engineers work closely with other specialists to ensure that the framework is optimized for the specific mission requirements and that it meets all safety and reliability standards.
