Stiffness
In space and astronautical engineering, stiffness refers to the resistance of a structure to deformation under an applied load. It is a critical parameter in the design of spacecraft and their components, as well as in the analysis of their performance. Stiffness is important because it affects the stability, strength, and durability of a structure.
