Spacecraft Software
Spacecraft software refers to the set of programs, procedures, and documentation that controls and manages the various subsystems of a spacecraft. This includes the guidance, navigation, and control systems, as well as the communication, power, and thermal control systems. The software is responsible for ensuring that the spacecraft operates safely and efficiently, and that it is able to carry out its mission objectives. Spacecraft software is typically developed using specialized programming languages and tools, and is rigorously tested and verified to ensure that it is reliable and fault-tolerant. Due to the harsh and unpredictable environment of space, spacecraft software must be designed to operate in extreme conditions, including high radiation levels, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical stresses.
