Thermal Infrared Radiometer


A Thermal Infrared Radiometer (TIR) is a device used to measure the temperature of an object by detecting the infrared radiation emitted by it. In space and astronautical engineering, TIRs are commonly used to measure the temperature of the Earth's surface and atmosphere, as well as other planets and celestial bodies.
