Electromagnetic Launcher
An Electromagnetic Launcher (EML) is a device that uses electromagnetic forces to launch spacecraft or payloads into space. The EML works by accelerating a conductive projectile along a set of rails using a magnetic field. The projectile is propelled forward by the interaction between the magnetic field and the electric current passing through it. The EML can achieve very high velocities, making it an attractive option for launching payloads into space. The technology is still in the experimental stage, but it has the potential to revolutionize space launch systems by reducing the cost and complexity of traditional rocket-based systems.
