Solid-state Lithium-ion Batteries

Solid-state lithium-ion batteries are a type of rechargeable battery that use a solid electrolyte instead of a liquid or gel electrolyte. The solid electrolyte can be made of various materials, such as ceramics or polymers, and allows for higher energy density, faster charging, and improved safety compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. Solid-state batteries also have the potential to operate at extreme temperatures and have a longer lifespan. However, they are currently more expensive to produce and have lower conductivity than liquid electrolyte batteries.
