Snowstorm

In space and astronautical engineering, a snowstorm refers to a phenomenon that occurs when a spacecraft or satellite is covered by a layer of ice or snow. This can happen when the spacecraft is exposed to water vapor or other forms of moisture in the atmosphere, which then freeze onto the surface of the spacecraft. Snowstorms can cause a number of problems for spacecraft, including reduced visibility, decreased thermal control, and increased weight. In some cases, snowstorms can even damage or disable spacecraft systems. To prevent snowstorms, spacecraft designers and engineers use a variety of techniques, such as thermal blankets, heaters, and coatings, to protect the spacecraft from moisture and ice buildup.
