Simulators

Simulators are devices or software programs that replicate the behavior of a system or process in a realistic way. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, simulators are used to recreate the conditions of spaceflight, including the effects of microgravity, radiation, and other environmental factors. They are used to train astronauts and ground crew for space missions, test spacecraft and equipment, and simulate various scenarios that may occur during a mission. Simulators can range from simple computer programs to complex systems that replicate the entire spacecraft and mission environment. They can be used to simulate launch, orbit, docking, and re-entry procedures, as well as emergency situations and contingency plans.
