Shovels

In space and astronautical engineering, shovels are not commonly used tools due to the lack of soil or loose material on celestial bodies. However, shovels can be used in certain situations such as collecting samples from the surface of a comet or asteroid. Shovels used in space missions are designed to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments. They are made of lightweight materials such as titanium or aluminum and have a special coating to prevent corrosion. The shape and size of the shovel depend on the mission requirements and the type of material being collected. Shovels are also used in the construction of habitats and infrastructure on the surface of the Moon or Mars, where loose regolith can be found.
