Reentry

Reentry is the process of returning a spacecraft or satellite from space back to Earth's atmosphere. During reentry, the spacecraft or satellite experiences high temperatures and pressures due to friction with the atmosphere. The goal of reentry is to slow down the spacecraft or satellite enough so that it can safely land on Earth. This is achieved through the use of heat shields, parachutes, and other deceleration devices. Reentry is a critical phase of any space mission, as it is the final step in bringing astronauts or scientific payloads back to Earth.
