Networks

In space and astronautical engineering, networks refer to the interconnected systems of communication, navigation, and data transfer that enable spacecraft and ground stations to exchange information. These networks can include satellite constellations, ground-based antennas, and other communication technologies that allow for real-time monitoring and control of spacecraft. Networks are critical for ensuring the success of space missions, as they enable spacecraft to transmit scientific data, receive commands from ground controllers, and communicate with other spacecraft or rovers. In addition, networks are used for tracking and navigation, allowing spacecraft to determine their position and trajectory in space. As space missions become more complex and involve multiple spacecraft and ground stations, networks will continue to play a crucial role in enabling communication and coordination between these systems.
