Metal Rods

In space and astronautical engineering, metal rods refer to cylindrical structures made of metal that are used for various purposes such as structural support, propulsion, and energy storage. Metal rods can be made of different materials such as aluminum, titanium, and steel, and can vary in size and shape depending on their intended use. They are commonly used in spacecraft and satellites as part of the propulsion system, where they are heated and ejected to generate thrust. Metal rods can also be used as part of the energy storage system, where they are charged with electricity and used to power various systems on board the spacecraft. In addition, metal rods can be used as part of the structural support system, where they provide rigidity and stability to the spacecraft or satellite.
