Loss Of Signal (LOS)

Loss Of Signal (LOS) is a term used in space and astronautical engineering to describe the loss of communication between a spacecraft and its ground station. When a spacecraft experiences LOS, it is unable to receive commands from the ground station or transmit data back to Earth.
