Ground Station

A Ground Station is a facility on Earth designed to communicate with spacecraft or satellites in orbit. It is equipped with antennas, receivers, transmitters, and other necessary equipment to establish and maintain communication with the spacecraft. Ground stations are responsible for tracking the spacecraft, receiving telemetry data, sending commands, and monitoring the health and status of the spacecraft. They are also used for data processing, analysis, and distribution. Ground stations can be operated by government agencies, private companies, or research institutions. They are strategically located around the world to ensure continuous coverage and communication with spacecraft in orbit.
