Isolators

In space and astronautical engineering, isolators are devices used to protect sensitive equipment from vibrations and shocks. They are designed to isolate the equipment from the rest of the spacecraft or launch vehicle, and to minimize the transfer of mechanical energy from one component to another. Isolators can be passive or active, and can use a variety of materials and mechanisms to achieve isolation, such as rubber, metal springs, or magnetic fields. They are critical components in ensuring the reliability and performance of spacecraft and launch vehicles, as well as scientific instruments and experiments that require precise measurements or stable environments.
