Interceptor

In space and astronautical engineering, an interceptor is a spacecraft designed to approach and destroy or disable an enemy spacecraft or missile. Interceptors are typically equipped with advanced sensors, propulsion systems, and weapons, such as lasers or missiles, to enable them to quickly and accurately track and engage their targets. Interceptors can be used for defensive or offensive purposes, and are often part of a larger space defense system. They may also be used to intercept and destroy space debris or other hazardous objects in orbit around the Earth.
