Integration
Integration in space and astronautical engineering refers to the process of combining different subsystems or components of a spacecraft or a space mission into a single functional system. This involves designing, testing, and verifying the interfaces between the subsystems to ensure that they work together seamlessly. Integration also involves the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of the spacecraft or mission, which includes the physical integration of the subsystems, the installation of the flight software, and the testing of the integrated system to ensure that it meets all the mission requirements. Integration is a critical phase in the development of a spacecraft or a space mission, as any errors or issues that arise during this phase can have significant consequences for the success of the mission.
