High-frequency Signals
High-frequency signals refer to electromagnetic waves with frequencies ranging from 3 MHz to 300 GHz. In space and astronautical engineering, high-frequency signals are used for communication, navigation, and remote sensing. Communication satellites use high-frequency signals to transmit and receive information between ground stations and other satellites. Navigation systems such as GPS also rely on high-frequency signals to determine the position of objects in space. Remote sensing satellites use high-frequency signals to gather data about the Earth's surface, atmosphere, and oceans. High-frequency signals are also used in scientific research to study the properties of the universe and to search for extraterrestrial life.
