Direct Air Capture

Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a process of capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) directly from the atmosphere using chemical reactions or physical adsorption. The captured CO2 can be stored underground or used for various industrial purposes. DAC technology has the potential to reduce the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and mitigate climate change. However, it is still in the early stages of development and requires significant energy and financial investments to become a viable solution for reducing carbon emissions.
