Cosmological Model

A cosmological model is a mathematical framework that describes the evolution of the universe on the largest scales. It includes the study of the universe's origin, structure, evolution, and eventual fate. The model is based on the laws of physics and observations of the universe, including the cosmic microwave background radiation, the large-scale distribution of galaxies, and the abundance of light elements. The most widely accepted cosmological model is the Lambda-CDM model, which includes dark matter and dark energy as major components. Other models include modified gravity theories and alternative cosmologies. Cosmological models are important for understanding the history and future of the universe, as well as for predicting the behavior of astronomical objects and phenomena.
