Convection Cooling

Convection cooling is a method of dissipating heat from a spacecraft or satellite by using the natural flow of air or other fluids. This is achieved by designing the spacecraft or satellite with fins or other protrusions that increase the surface area exposed to the fluid flow. As the fluid flows over the surface, it absorbs heat and carries it away, cooling the spacecraft or satellite. Convection cooling is an important consideration in the design of spacecraft and satellites, as overheating can cause damage to sensitive electronics and other components. Effective convection cooling can help to extend the lifespan of a spacecraft or satellite and improve its overall performance.
