Communication Signal
A communication signal is an electromagnetic wave that carries information from one point to another. In space and astronautical engineering, communication signals are used to transmit information between spacecraft and ground stations, as well as between different spacecraft. Communication signals can be either analog or digital, and can be modulated in various ways to carry different types of information, such as voice, data, or images. The strength and quality of a communication signal can be affected by various factors, such as distance, interference, and atmospheric conditions. Therefore, communication engineers use various techniques to optimize the performance of communication signals, such as using directional antennas, frequency hopping, and error correction codes.
