Troposphere
In space and astronautical engineering, the troposphere is the lowest layer of Earth's atmosphere, extending from the surface up to an altitude of approximately 7-20 km, depending on the location and season. This layer is characterized by a decrease in temperature with altitude, and it is where most weather phenomena occur, such as clouds, precipitation, and storms. The troposphere is also important for space missions, as it contains the air that spacecraft must pass through during launch and re-entry. The properties of the troposphere, such as temperature, pressure, and density, must be carefully monitored and modeled to ensure the safety and success of space missions.
