Thermal Tests

Thermal tests are a series of experiments conducted on spacecraft and their components to ensure they can withstand the extreme temperatures and thermal environments of space. These tests are critical to the success of a mission, as temperature fluctuations can cause damage to sensitive equipment and affect the performance of the spacecraft. Thermal tests involve subjecting the spacecraft to extreme hot and cold temperatures, as well as simulating the thermal conditions it will experience during different phases of the mission, such as launch, orbit, and re-entry. The data collected from these tests is used to design and optimize the spacecraft's thermal control system, which includes insulation, heaters, radiators, and other components that regulate the temperature inside the spacecraft.
