Technician

In the context of space and astronautical engineering, a technician is a skilled worker who is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment used in space missions. Technicians work closely with engineers and scientists to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and that any issues are addressed in a timely manner. They may be responsible for the assembly and testing of spacecraft components, the installation and calibration of scientific instruments, or the maintenance of ground support equipment. Technicians must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. They must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the mission team.
