TCP

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a standard communication protocol used in computer networks. It is a reliable, connection-oriented protocol that provides error checking and flow control mechanisms to ensure that data is transmitted accurately and efficiently between devices. TCP is responsible for breaking data into packets, sending them across the network, and reassembling them at the destination. It uses a three-way handshake process to establish a connection between devices and provides congestion control to prevent network congestion and ensure fair sharing of network resources. TCP is widely used in the internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) and is the most commonly used protocol for transmitting data over the internet.
