SpaceWire Protocol

SpaceWire is a spacecraft communication network protocol used for on-board data handling and transfer. It is designed to provide high-speed, low-power, and reliable communication between different on-board subsystems and instruments. SpaceWire is based on the IEEE 1355 standard and uses a packet-based communication scheme. It supports point-to-point and multicast communication, error detection and correction, flow control, and quality of service. SpaceWire also defines a standard connector and cable for easy integration of different components. SpaceWire has been used in various space missions, including Rosetta, Gaia, and ExoMars.
