Launch Windows
In space and astronautical engineering, a launch window is a period of time during which a spacecraft must be launched in order to reach its intended destination. The launch window is determined by a number of factors, including the position of the destination relative to the launch site, the speed and trajectory of the spacecraft, and the position of other objects in space that may interfere with the launch. Launch windows are often very narrow, sometimes lasting only a few minutes, and missing a launch window can result in significant delays or even the cancellation of a mission. Launch windows are carefully calculated and planned in advance to ensure that spacecraft are launched at the optimal time to achieve their mission objectives.
