Packet-based Communication
Packet-based communication is a method of transmitting data in which information is divided into small, fixed-size units called packets. Each packet contains a portion of the data, as well as information about its destination and the order in which it should be reassembled. This method of communication is commonly used in space and astronautical engineering to transmit data between spacecraft and ground stations, as well as between different spacecraft in a network. Packet-based communication allows for more efficient use of bandwidth and can handle errors and delays more effectively than other methods of communication.
