Segmented Structures
Segmented structures refer to spacecraft or launch vehicles that are composed of multiple segments or stages, each of which has its own propulsion system and is discarded once its fuel is depleted. This allows for a more efficient use of fuel and a reduction in the overall weight of the spacecraft or launch vehicle.
