Scanning Radiometer
A scanning radiometer is a remote sensing instrument that measures the intensity of electromagnetic radiation emitted or reflected by the Earth's surface. It consists of a radiometer mounted on a scanning platform that moves across the surface of the Earth, collecting data at different angles and wavelengths. The data collected by the scanning radiometer can be used to create images of the Earth's surface, measure temperature and moisture content, and monitor changes in vegetation and land use. Scanning radiometers are commonly used in satellite remote sensing missions to study the Earth's climate, weather patterns, and natural resources.
