Satellite Servicing

Satellite servicing refers to the process of repairing, refueling, upgrading, or relocating an existing satellite in orbit. This can be done by sending a specialized spacecraft, often called a servicing vehicle, to rendezvous with the target satellite. The servicing vehicle can then use robotic arms, tools, and other equipment to perform the necessary tasks. Satellite servicing can extend the lifespan of a satellite, improve its performance, or even repurpose it for a new mission. It can also reduce the amount of space debris in orbit by removing defunct satellites or other objects. Satellite servicing is a complex and challenging task that requires precise navigation, communication, and control systems, as well as advanced robotics and artificial intelligence technologies.
