Safety Management
Safety Management in space and astronautical engineering is the process of identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards and risks associated with space missions and activities. It involves the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment. Safety Management also includes the monitoring and evaluation of safety performance, the investigation of incidents and accidents, and the continuous improvement of safety practices. The goal of Safety Management is to prevent accidents and incidents from occurring, and to minimize the consequences of those that do occur.
