Regression Testing

Regression testing is a type of software testing that is performed to ensure that changes or modifications made to a software application do not adversely affect the existing functionality of the application. It involves re-executing test cases that have been previously executed to ensure that the changes made to the application have not introduced any new defects or caused any existing defects to resurface. Regression testing is an important part of the software development life cycle as it helps to ensure that the quality of the software is maintained and that the application continues to function as expected after any changes have been made.
