Redundancies

Redundancies can be implemented in various ways, such as duplicating entire systems, using backup components, or implementing backup power sources. Redundancies are essential in space missions as the environment is harsh and remote, making repairs or replacements difficult or impossible. The failure of a critical component or system can result in the loss of the spacecraft or satellite, and the mission's objectives may not be achieved.
