Radio Receiver

A radio receiver is an electronic device that receives radio waves and converts them into electrical signals. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, radio receivers are used to receive signals from spacecraft, satellites, and other space-based instruments. These signals can include telemetry data, scientific measurements, and images. Radio receivers used in space must be designed to withstand the harsh conditions of space, including extreme temperatures, radiation, and vacuum. They must also be highly sensitive and selective, able to pick up weak signals from great distances and filter out unwanted interference. Radio receivers are an essential component of space communication systems, allowing scientists and engineers to receive data from space probes and other spacecraft, and enabling astronauts to communicate with mission control on Earth.
