Qubits

In the context of space and astronautical engineering, qubits refer to the basic unit of quantum information. Qubits are the quantum analogue of classical bits, which are used in classical computing. However, unlike classical bits, which can only exist in one of two states (0 or 1), qubits can exist in multiple states simultaneously, a phenomenon known as superposition. Additionally, qubits can be entangled, meaning that the state of one qubit is dependent on the state of another, even if they are separated by large distances. These properties make qubits a promising technology for quantum computing, which has the potential to revolutionize space and astronautical engineering by enabling faster and more efficient simulations of complex systems, such as spacecraft trajectories and atmospheric models.
