BASIC

BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) is a high-level programming language designed for beginners to learn programming easily. It was developed in the mid-1960s and became popular in the 1970s and 1980s. BASIC is an interpreted language, which means that the code is executed line by line, and errors are detected as soon as they occur. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, BASIC has been used for programming microcontrollers and other embedded systems in spacecraft and satellites.
