Power Systems in astronautical engineering refer to the systems that generate, store, distribute, and manage electrical power on spacecraft. Power systems can be classified into two types: primary power systems and secondary power systems. Power systems must be designed to be reliable, efficient, and lightweight, as weight is a critical factor in space missions. They must also be able to withstand the harsh space environment, including radiation, extreme temperatures, and vacuum conditions.
