Power Plant

In space and astronautical engineering, a power plant is a system that generates electrical power for spacecraft or space stations. The power plant typically consists of solar panels, batteries, and power management systems. Solar panels are used to convert sunlight into electrical energy, which is then stored in batteries for use when the spacecraft is in shadow or not receiving enough sunlight. Power management systems regulate the flow of electricity to different systems on the spacecraft, ensuring that each system receives the appropriate amount of power. The efficiency and reliability of the power plant are critical to the success of a space mission, as any failure could result in the loss of the spacecraft or crew.
