Planetary Exploration

Planetary exploration is the investigation of the planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and other celestial objects in our solar system and beyond. It involves the use of robotic spacecraft, landers, and rovers to gather data and samples from these objects, as well as the analysis of that data to better understand the formation and evolution of our solar system and the potential for life beyond Earth. Planetary exploration also includes the study of the atmospheres, surfaces, and interiors of these objects, as well as their potential resources and hazards. It is a multidisciplinary field that draws on expertise from astronomy, geology, physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering.
